These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the Dr. Med Pharmacy website, Customer Portal, online store, prescription features, checkout, payment services, and related online services.
By creating an account, using our services, or placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions together with our Privacy Policy and Return & Refund Policy.
1. Eligibility and AccountsYou must be legally capable of entering into the relevant transaction.
If you are under 18 years old, you should use Dr. Med Pharmacy only with the involvement or authorization of a parent or legal guardian where required.
When creating an account, you must provide accurate and current information.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activities conducted through your account.
Notify Dr. Med Pharmacy promptly if you believe your account has been accessed or used without authorization.
You must not create accounts using another person's identity without authorization.
2. Product Information, Prices and AvailabilityProduct information is provided to assist customers in making purchasing decisions. Customers should follow product labels, prescriptions, pharmacist instructions, and advice from their healthcare providers where applicable.
Prices are displayed in Philippine Pesos (PHP).
Applicable VAT treatment is determined according to the product classification and Philippine law.
Product prices, availability, promotions, discounts, and offers may change from time to time.
Adding an item to your cart does not reserve the product or guarantee availability.
Dr. Med Pharmacy may refuse, adjust, or cancel an order where reasonably necessary because of:
- Product unavailability
- Pricing or system errors
- Payment failure or expiration
- Invalid or unapproved prescription requirements
- Fraudulent or unauthorized activity
- Incorrect customer or delivery information
- Legal or regulatory restrictions
- Safety concerns
- Inability to lawfully fulfill the transaction
Where payment has already been collected for an order that Dr. Med Pharmacy cannot fulfill, an appropriate refund will be arranged in accordance with applicable law and the Return & Refund Policy.
3. Prescription MedicinesPrescription medicines require a valid prescription and pharmacist approval before purchase.
Customers purchasing prescription medicines must use a Dr. Med Pharmacy account so prescription files and review decisions can be securely associated with the applicable customer and medicine.
A prescription may be submitted from an applicable prescription product page or through the Upload Prescription service.
Customers must select the prescription medicine or medicines for which review is requested and upload a clear supported prescription file.
The upload service accepts supported image or PDF formats subject to the file requirements displayed on the website.
Prescription submissions may have statuses including:
- Under Review
- Approved
- Partially Approved
- Needs Clarification
- Rejected
An uploaded prescription does not automatically authorize the purchase of a prescription medicine.
If approved, the applicable medicine becomes available for purchase through the normal ordering process.
If a request covering multiple medicines is partially approved, only the approved medicines may be purchased. Other medicines remain unavailable unless and until the necessary approval is obtained.
Where clarification is required or a prescription is rejected, the customer may submit additional information or an updated valid prescription for another review.
Resubmission does not guarantee approval.
Prescription medicines will be dispensed only in accordance with applicable Philippine law, pharmacy practice standards, and professional requirements.
A pharmacist may refuse to approve, dispense, or sell a prescription medicine where doing so would violate law, professional standards, prescription requirements, or patient-safety requirements.
4. Medical and Pharmacy DisclaimerDr. Med Pharmacy does not replace your physician or other appropriate healthcare provider.
The ordinary online-store service does not provide physician diagnosis, independent medical prescribing, or physician telemedicine consultation.
Pharmacists may perform lawful pharmacy functions including prescription review, dispensing-related assessment, medicine information, counseling, and referral within the lawful scope of pharmacy practice.
Product descriptions and health-related information appearing on the website are for general informational and product purposes and are not a substitute for individualized medical advice.
For urgent medical concerns, seek assistance from an appropriate licensed healthcare professional.
For medical emergencies, contact emergency services or proceed to the nearest appropriate healthcare facility.
5. Product Safety and Adverse ReactionsIf you believe you have experienced an adverse reaction or safety problem involving a medicine or health product, seek appropriate medical attention when necessary.
You may also report the concern to Dr. Med Pharmacy through our Contact Us or support channels.
We may request reasonable information concerning the product, order, batch, reaction, or incident and may document, investigate, refer, or report information where necessary or required by applicable law or regulation.
6. Senior Citizen and PWD BenefitsDr. Med Pharmacy honors legally mandated Senior Citizen and Person with Disability benefits for qualifying purchases in accordance with Philippine law.
Eligible customers may be required to complete verification before the applicable benefits can be used.
The current Customer Portal allows eligible customers to submit a Senior Citizen or PWD identification image and related verification information for review.
Verification must be approved before applicable checkout discounts are applied.
The statutory discount and VAT exemption apply only to eligible products and transactions and are subject to applicable legal requirements.
Dr. Med Pharmacy may request additional information or verification where reasonably necessary to establish eligibility or comply with law.
Providing false, altered, fraudulent, or unauthorized eligibility documents may result in rejection of the verification, cancellation of an affected benefit or transaction, account restriction, and other appropriate action.
7. OrdersSubmitting an order is a request to purchase the selected products.
An order acknowledgement or automated communication confirms that the order was received but does not prevent Dr. Med Pharmacy from subsequently reviewing the transaction or cancelling it for a valid reason.
Orders may move through statuses such as payment pending, paid, prescription review where applicable, processing, packed, shipped, and delivered.
Customers are responsible for checking the accuracy of product quantities, delivery details, contact information, applicable discounts, and payment information before submitting an order.
Dr. Med Pharmacy may contact you if additional information is necessary to process an order.
8. PaymentAvailable payment options are displayed during checkout.
Depending on the payment settings available at the time of purchase, checkout may offer:
- Online Payment through the Dr. Med Payment Center
- Cash on Delivery when available and enabled
Specific banks, cards, e-wallets, payment channels, or providers may change and are not guaranteed to remain continuously available.
The payment method and options shown during checkout or in the Payment Center at the time of payment will control the transaction.
Online payments may be processed through third-party payment service providers and may be subject to their security procedures, availability, and applicable terms.
Some online orders may have a payment deadline. If payment is not completed within the displayed period, the payment or order may expire.
For Cash on Delivery orders, the applicable amount is collected upon delivery.
Dr. Med Pharmacy is responsible for its own obligations under applicable law but is not responsible for independent technical outages or delays caused exclusively by a third-party payment provider outside our reasonable control.
9. Order Cancellation and ModificationCustomers should contact Dr. Med Pharmacy as soon as possible if they need to cancel an order.
An online cancellation-request option may be available through the Customer Portal for certain early-stage orders, including applicable orders awaiting payment or where payment has failed.
Submitting a cancellation request does not itself guarantee cancellation. The request may require support review.
If the online cancellation option is no longer available but the order has not yet been shipped, contact customer support immediately. We will determine whether the order can still be stopped or modified.
Once an order has been shipped, it can no longer be cancelled.
This restriction does not remove any right you may have to return, replace, or obtain a refund for qualifying goods under the Return & Refund Policy or applicable Philippine law.
10. Shipping and DeliveryDr. Med Pharmacy delivers to supported addresses within the Philippines.
Shipping fees are calculated according to the delivery location and the shipping settings or promotions applicable to the order.
Unless a different amount or promotion is displayed at checkout, the current standard shipping configuration is:
- Metro Manila: PHP 150
- Outside Metro Manila: PHP 200
- Free shipping on qualifying orders of PHP 1,000 or more when the free-shipping benefit is enabled
The qualifying amount and final shipping charge are calculated and displayed during checkout.
The current standard estimated delivery period is generally:
- Metro Manila: 1 to 3 business days
- Outside Metro Manila: approximately 3 to 7 business days
These are estimates rather than guaranteed delivery dates.
Remote, island, or difficult-to-service locations may require additional transit time or manual confirmation.
Delivery may also be affected by:
- Courier operations
- Severe weather
- Holidays
- Natural disasters
- Government restrictions
- Transportation interruptions
- Incorrect or incomplete delivery details
- Recipient unavailability
- Events outside reasonable control
Shipping rates, thresholds, and estimated delivery periods may be updated from time to time. The information presented during checkout for a particular order will apply to that transaction.
11. Order TrackingCustomers may use the Dr. Med Pharmacy Track Order function or Customer Portal to view available order-status information.
Tracking information reflects the information available to Dr. Med Pharmacy at that time and may not always represent real-time physical movement by a courier.
If an order appears delayed or the status is unclear, contact customer support and provide your order number.
12. Returns and RefundsReturns, replacements, and refunds are governed by the Dr. Med Pharmacy Return & Refund Policy and applicable Philippine consumer law.
Nothing in these Terms creates a blanket “No Return, No Exchange” rule.
Where a product is defective, damaged without the customer's fault, expired upon delivery, incorrect, materially non-conforming, or otherwise subject to a statutory remedy, applicable consumer rights remain available.
Change-of-mind returns may be restricted, particularly for medicines and products affected by hygiene, tampering, storage, or safety considerations.
Please review the Return & Refund Policy for detailed procedures.
13. Promotions and DiscountsPromotions, voucher codes, free-shipping offers, and other discounts may be subject to separate eligibility conditions, validity periods, minimum-spend requirements, product restrictions, or usage limits.
Statutory Senior Citizen and PWD benefits will be applied to qualifying transactions in accordance with applicable law.
Where promotional and statutory benefits cannot lawfully or technically be combined, the applicable benefit will be determined in accordance with governing law and the terms of the relevant promotion.
Fraudulent use of discounts, promotional codes, or eligibility documents may result in cancellation or account restriction.
